A Real Stand-up Kind Of Guy

Although it takes more energy, stand while you teach. It may take more energy, but it also gives more energy to your teaching and helps keep interest. (There’s nothing more boring than a stationary target!) Getting up and moving around also gives you more opportunities to get closer to each child and use better eye contact.

If, for one reason or another, you can’t get up and move, find other ways to make your motions more animated. You could even get some of the children to get up and do some of the things you may not be able to.
