In teaching the children what a missionary is, distinguish between the missionary God wants them to be everyday in their neighborhood, home and school and the career missionary. The children need to know the difference so that they can support the missionaries of your church and so that they can consider God’s calling on their own lives to be missionaries. Let them know that a missionary is one who has made it his life’s work to win others to Christ.
